Staff at an aquarium in Cornwall, England recently discovered a dangerous giant worm prowling about one of their large display tanks.
The Daily mail reports that for months the staff was confused over how the large coral reef and fish in the tank were constantly being eaten, harmed or destroyed.
So they decided to put the tank under constant observation, and eventually the huge 4-foot worm revealed itself. The worm, now named Barry, is believed to have arrived as a much younger specimen along with a shipment of coral rock.
Barry is capable of devastating coral reefs and fish populations, and has fleshly thorns that can inflict permanent numbness on humans.
